And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (2 Timothy 4:4 KJV)
Hear the word of the Lord, for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. They swear by the name of the Lord, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.
Today, let us be of those which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
