“And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”1 Corinthians 6:11 KJV
Jesus has sanctifed and cleansed us with the washing of water by the word, that He might present us to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, nor wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
