“That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.”

‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭11:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

In time past we were not a people, but we are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

  1. What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

    And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

    Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

    As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.

    And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

    Romans 9:22‭-‬26 KJV

    Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.

    Hosea 1:10 KJV

    By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;

    Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

    Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

    Hebrews 11:24‭-‬26 KJV

    If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

    But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.

    Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

    1 Peter 4:14‭-‬16 KJV
