“Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
2 Thessalonians 2:14 KJV
Walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you. Alleluia!
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Therefore we are buried with him(Jesus) by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his(Jesus’) death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him(Jesus), that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Romans 6:3-6 KJV
… the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Colossians 1:26-27 KJV
… God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
Galatians 6:14 KJV
