A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence. (Proverbs 13:2 KJV)
I want to eat well, and by offering the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name, the fruit of our mouths will be acceptable and wellpleasing unto God. Rather than eating violence we shall be made partakers to eat the good things of God.
Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. (Luke 13:24 KJV)
Seek to enter in at the straight gate, and strive to make sure we shall be able. Seek ye the kingdom of God and strive against sin, and we will be sure to enter in at the straight gate. Alleluia!
Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. (Psalms 33:1 KJV)
Praising God for all of his goodness is a beautiful thing, and comely amongst his saints, the upright of the Lord, and the righteous.
I will rejoice for evermore.
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. (Romans 7:6 KJV)
I thank God to be delivered from the law of sin and death – today! I am no longer held in death and I serve God in the newness of the Spirit of life and not with the oldness of the letter. In Christ Jesus, we walk not after the flesh but after the spirit, free from the law of sin and death.
Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. (Philippians 4:9 KJV)
I can say today, and I rejoice that I have learned, received, and heard things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report, with virtue and with praise.
The God of peace is with me as I think on theses things.
Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God. (1 Thessalonians 1:4 KJV)
That the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth. I thank God through his word that we may be knowing, called, and elect according to God’s divine will.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. (Matthew 7:18 KJV)
Through the scriptures I will do everything I need to do to be a good tree, planted in God’s vineyard, purged by the Husbandman to bring forth good fruit as a disciple of Jesus bearing much fruit wherein the Father is glorified.
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: (Deuteronomy 28:1 KJV)
I will be diligent to hearken unto my God’s voice, for faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, and without faith it is impossible to please our God. The blessings of God shall come on me, and overtake me, if I hearken unto the voice of God.
Thank God for his word today, which is the voice of the Lord my God talking to me.
I will hearken, observe, and do all his commandments – this day.
If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established. (Isaiah 7:9 KJV)
Believe to be established.
I believe therefore I am surely established!
Established as his holy people in the present truth – Jesus.
But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved. (John 5:34 KJV)
Thank God for the words of spirit and of life spoken by Jesus – that we may live by every word, and that we may be saved – for heaven and earth shall pass away, but the words of Jesus shall not pass away. Eternal words by an eternal God for eternal life!
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. (John 10:4 KJV)
He leadeth me, and I will follow. Through the word of God I know his voice. He has made us, and not we ourselves, we are his people and the sheep of his pasture. The good shepherd gives his life for his sheep, He knows his sheep, and will lay down his life for his sheep.
Thank You JESUS.
I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. (Psalms 40:1 KJV)
Now we know that God heareth not sinners, but he hears the cry of the righteous and the prayer of the righteous too! Inclined unto me, He hath heard my cry and delivered me out of my troubles.
