“O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.”
Psalm 136:26 KJV
Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto Him, sing psalms unto Him, talk ye of all his wondrous works. Therefore I will give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Hebrews 13:12-16 KJV
… let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Colossians 3:15, 17 KJV
