“In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.”
Proverbs 14:26 KJV
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Amen!
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust.
Psalm 91:2 KJV
But I will sing of thy power; Yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: For thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: For God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
Psalm 59:16-17 KJV
There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, Even the most High, thy habitation;
Psalm 91:10, 9 KJV
Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Hebrews 6:17-20 KJV
